Back to Drop Dead Funny 2020
"Drop Dead Funny; The Deborah Jarvis Memorial Comedy Jam" was a phenomenal success. A sold-out house enjoyed some of Canada's most talented comics giving their all in a worthy cause, the The Second City Deborah Jarvis Award for Canadian Comediennes.

70 people, friends, family and admirers of Deb, turned out on Sunday, June 23 (Deborah and her husband, John's, wedding anniversary) in the afternoon at the John Candy Box Theatre at Second City in downtown Toronto. They got 90 minutes of laughs, memories and great comedy.

Here's the line-up of the Deborah Jarvis Players:
  • Colin Mochrie : Long famous to Canadian TV audiences for his role on Whose Line is it Anyway, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Colin worked with Deborah in the Second City Touring Company too many years ago to mention here.

  • Deb Kimmett : With a background in Acme Harpoon Company with Deborah Jarvis, and later, The Two Debs with her, and the Second City Touring Company, Deborah is one of Deborah's oldest friends.

  • Ed Sahely : Another alumnus of the Second City Touring Company, and a great friend of Deborah's.

  • Lindsay Leese : An alumna of the Second City Touring Company, and also Acme Harpoon Company with Deborah.

  • Tom Mellisis : Canadian TV audiences will recognize Tom from De Grassi, The Next Generation and De Grassi Junior High, and he is another alumnus of the Second City Touring Company.

  • Mrs Pat Yeatman : A dear friend of Deb's, Mrs Pat is also an alumna of the Second City Touring Company and The Two Debs.

  • Barb Muller : Barb is an alumna of the Second City Touring Company, and also worked with The Two Debs.

  • Julia Bennett : A writer and producer, Julia was a member of the nascent comedy group Don't Worry Mom, back in the day.
